Theatre

The Irvine Valley College Theatre Department cultivates the talent in people of all abilities through participation in theatrical experiences on and off the stage. IVC theatrical productions range from classical dramas to musicals to single-actor performances. The department offers associate degree and certificate programs, transfer preparation for theatre majors, and classes in all facets of theatre arts. Music

The dynamic Irvine Valley College Music Department presents a full season of concerts each year, featuring the IVC Jazz Ensemble, Masterworks Chorale, Orchestra, and Wind Symphony, and the guitar, piano and voice areas. The department also offers a full complement of general education classes. Individuals at all levels of ability, from music novices to seasoned performers, those hoping to learn to sing or play piano or guitar, and students seeking general education credit or cultural fulfillment will find a home in the IVC Music Department. Dance

The mission of the Dance Department is to provide a high-quality program that offers a breadth of dance education, dance performances, and dance movement experiences of varying levels for students, faculty, and the community at large. Students may take dance classes to complete an associate degree in dance or to fulfill lower division requirements before transferring as a dance major. There are opportunities to participate in national dance festivals, to fulfill general education requirements in the fine arts, or simply to pursue the love of dancing.
